Artist Statement
My addiction to truth and beauty drives me to create art that centres around connection, understanding, and love. On days when I hit an artery and art flows freely from my fiery core, I forge things (sculptures, installations, paintings, performances, drawing, digital art, music, writings, and collaborative, multimedia exhibitions) that touch people. At its best, my work awakens a fiery core within them too. Other times, making art is a mighty river through which I struggle anyway. Deep inside all of my work stands a skeleton -- a scaffold of peace within each of us, among us, with the living world, and with Earth herself.
