When Dance Speaks and Music Answers

What is the Sound of One Heart Dancing? was a multimedia show that presented visual and musical interpretations of the impulse to dance, a feeling that is notoriously difficult to describe in words. Photos of an illuminated performer dancing in the dark inspired the creation of four new musical compositions by three composers. Video clips provide a glimpse behind the scenes. Performance by Helen Walsh; photography and videography by Jennie Grangel and Tia Vellani; musical compositions by Eoin Coffey, Sandra Mogensen, and Tia Vellani. Produced and directed by Tia Vellani who gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Arts Council of Ireland's Arts & Disability Connect Scheme, managed by Arts & Disability Ireland, as well as the magnanimous assistance given by the people on the AKA Team.
